“There are no Sabre-toothed tigers in Islam,” stated the scholar, with great self righteous assurance.
“Well, it seems you need to revise that premise,” replied the sabre-toothed tiger sitting pertly between the columns, tail thumping quite impertinently, “It seems Islam has sabre-toothed tigers”
“Are there not Sabre-toothed tiger religions for your kind?” inquired the scholar, gently.
“Are there other True religions, scholar?”
“You see, it is very difficult for you to be a Sabre-toothed tiger in my Masjid. We do not have arrangements”
“Neither did Mecca once upon a time, but that changed”
“Can you go sit out of the way of the human students?”
“Are cats not to be treated with the same Adab as human beings?”
“There are no sabre-toothed cats in the Qur’an “
“There are no Irishmen either. That implies that Allah hid the sins of the Sabre-toothed tigers that ate them prior for not providing proper space in the Masjid,”
“What space would one such as yourself even need?”
“I don’t know, what happens when you are long in the tooth and too big to be comfortable in one Masjid? Should I be charging for my appearances?”
“Astaghfirullah you horrific monster, why are you asking me?” exclaimed the scholar.
“There weren’t any other sabre-toothed tigers in Islam to ask.” replied the sabre-toothed tiger.
